    Need advice on podcasting

    Friday, November 21, 2008, 10:42 AM [General]

Hi, for all you guys who publish podcasts, I'd like a little advice.  What do you recommend as far as hosting a podcast and creating the RSS feed for distribution?  Is hosting the podcast on my own server the best way to go?  What services would you use for publishing it? Thanks in advance.

    10 minutes of relaxation

    Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 03:14 PM [General]

    Hello relaxers and relaxees,

I put up a video in my gallery here at Ourhypnospace, on Youtube, and on my website that consists of 10 minutes of my nature sounds and gallery photos (and some other nature images). It's meant to be a quick relaxation break during the middle of the day to "get away" from work for a bit.  I hope you enjoy it and find some peace and tranquility in this virtual escape to nature.

"Do you think Holosync would be a worthwhile investment for me? It is after all, one of the more expensive programs out there."

It was a life-saver for me, along with hypnosis, but not everyone needs that kind of help. I decided within four months of starting the program that I would go to the end of the 13 year program, because I could see the long picture for myself, so I did it a little cheaper by becoming an Inner Circle Life Member, which also has a few other perks along the way. Not everyone has the deep pockets (or credit cards) to do that.

There is also a time investment involved - one hour per day, for as long as you decide to continue the program. Many people who already meditate one hour per day may not want to add the extra hour, or give that hour over entirely to Holosync meditation. My suggestion is to explore the web-site (if you decide to explore, please click in from the link on my web-site, so if you decide to buy, I'll get a small affiliate fee), to see if it is something that would enhance your life. Only you can determine that for sure.

    Cheers!

    Hi Paul:

Regards your question to me, my own personal experience hasn't followed that norm (doing well with entrainment, therefore must also do well with hypnosis). Most hypnotists I've worked with frustrate me to no end, because they want you to "visualize" all this stuff to get into hypnosis, and I'm extremely analytical and kinetic, and totally NOT visual. Unless I just put myself into trance, which I'm good at on my own, I generally am not a good hypnotic subject for anyone else to attempt induction. The reason I do so well with entrainment is that it is, for me at least, a very kinetic experience. Other than Holosync though (I'm currently half way through the "Purification" levels), most of the stuff out there on CD's isn't strong enough now to do much for me, if used in conjunction with hypnosis.

    Cheers!

Hi there, thanks for the response. I like Neuroprogrammer and Hemi-Sync, but I most often use Brainwave Generator. Question: do you think that the headphone-free programs in Neuroprogrammer are as effective as the ones that require headphones? Sometimes it's just more convenient to listen thru my laptop speakers without putting headphones on, but I wonder if I am losing some of the benefit that way.
